Custom Wholesale
If you see something you would like to tweek, or custom print on, just let me know. I love making custom orders. You know the most about your shop or special event. I know the most about my style and technique. Together we can create something wonderful. Here is an example of a collection of soap dishes being sold at a boutique in California and an example of a set of miniature dishes for the ring ceremony at Saint Joseph's Academy.
The Garden Party Collection
This collection of items are my favorite to make. They are inspired by the beautifully tiny details of nature that we often overlook. Some of the imprinted bird patterns have an intentional stray, perhaps upside down of facing the opposite direction from the rest of the pattern. I also decorate the insides as well as the exterior of the piece with a silkscreened image. With patterns on top of patterns and tiny details here and there, they are a symbol of the small details all around us that we are often too busy to see.
The pieces in this collection started out as a flat slab, at which time I roll the imprinted bird patterns in. Then I assembled them, leaving the seams visible. Next I bisque fire them and then carefully decorate the inside and out with colorful silkscreened pattern. I make the pattern burst through the seam by cutting some images in half and showing them on the opposite side. Finally I put a clear glossy glaze over the top. This glaze is lead free and food safe. A long journey for pottery, but the results are beautiful.
I currently have 3 pattern styles:
Red Dollies, Red/ Blue/ or Green Flower Vines, and Blue Lotus
All pattern styles can be put onto:
Mugs - about 12 oz of fluid and are approximately 3.75 inches wide along the top rim and 4 inches tall
Saucers -
Tumblers/ Toothbrush Holders/ Pen or Paint Brush Dishes -
Soap Dishes -
Business Card Holders/ Jewelry or Trinket Dish -
Vases -
They are hand built instead of thrown on an electric potters wheel, so they are somewhat asymmetrical.

Miniature Dishes in Size A
These dishes are great for organizing daily vitamins and pills, holding your rings or earrings, sorting crafts such as beads, storing paperclips, pushpins, or coins, holding sugar, salt, pepper or herbs close at hand while you cook, dipping sauces, shot glasses, mouthwash cup, tea bag saver, all kinds of things.
They are cast from a mold I created of baby potatoes. The exterior of the dishes are lumpy and wrinkled like a potato, while the inside is much more smooth. I've made them out of white earthenware clay. I've stamped them one letter at a time with a dark brown ink, color the insides with bright glazes or slips or decorate them with imagery. I've used a clear glossy glaze, that is lead free and food safe.
These dishes can vary in size from 1 3/8 to 1 5/8 inches (3.5 to 4 cm) long, 1 3/4 to 1 2/3 inches (4.5 to 4.75) cm wide and 3/4 to 2/3 inches (1.5 to 2 cm) in depth. They hold about a tablespoon or 1/2 ounce. The measurements are not precise because each one is handmade.
Size A comes in imagery, colors or text.

Being slightly larger than Size A, these dishes have a few more uses. Use these dishes for bird seed or air plants. Use them for holding sugar, butter, salt, pepper or herbs close at hand while you cook. Set on your table filled with hummus, soy, salsa, ice cream, small deserts or dipping sauces. Use as shot glasses, tea bag saver, mouthwash cup, guitar pick holder, candy, tea candles, all kinds of things.
